Hello,

Sorry if this post is a little vague - I kind of put off doing anything
about this after I got frustrated and gave up - so Ill probably miss some
stuff.

At any rate, last spring (told you I put this off :) ) I upgraded to Sympa
4.1.1 from (I believe - here is the version in sympa.pl # RCS Identication ;
$Revision: 1.104.2.5 $ ; $Date: 2003/04/29 09:50:44 $) version 3.4.

So, with the upgrade somehow I could no longer log in to the web interface
using my LDAP information (the auth.conf is exactly identical to what it was
- and the wwsympa.conf and sympa.conf files are pretty much the same as the
backup versions with just a couple of differences that don't seem to be
important). Also, the archives stop at the date of the upgrade. I can log
in using my full email address and the password I had it send me and
everything works that way (not the archives obviously). Because I backed up
the old sympa files before the upgrade, I can compare any file if someone
can just point me in the right direction.

I see a lot of stuff from sympa in messages, but honestly none of it seems
related to authentication or really anything that I can tell is relevant.

Since the lists kept running (minus archives) I just decided to leave it
alone. But Id really like to fix it - can anyone give me any pointers? Im
not the one that installed the software, so its very possible that Im
missing something basic.

Thanks,

Tony
