I experienced something similar this autumn, someone had altered the
default reception mode from "mail" to "summary", ie all email sent to
the list were not distributed at once to the members but pending. I
had the same log errors as above. Of course I could not find anyone
that had done configuration, but I could not find or replicate this so
I thought it could not be a bug in sympa...

So check the reception mode for the users and the default reception
mode for lists.
