Hi Liam,

If you don't read the multipart digests properly, it's probably because 
your mail client is not good in displaying MIME (have a try with 
mozilla). But I don't pretend you should change your mail client ;-)

Because you are not the only one having problem with multipart digests, 
we have added support for plaintext digest in Sympa (the feature was 
added by Chris Hastie). The digest format is even customizeable (based 
on a template).

But you'll have to wait for the next release to come to have this 
feature....
