I've just started to experiment with virtual robots for
the first time, and am surprised to find that list names have to be
unique across all robots. ie I can't have address@concealed and
address@concealed.
Am I missing a configuration option, or is the list name space really shared by all robots? Hi http://www.sympa.org/fom-serve/cache/153.html The need is to define two list named for exemple address@concealed and address@concealed running virtual robot definition. No, you can't with any Sympa version. Don't try to do it unless you modify sympa internals, you may get in trouble. The solution in such case is to install several sympa servers in a single computer. This is easy to do modifying Sympa configuration file location before running make. Does Sympa authors plans to fix this limitation ?Yes we will do it. It is not so easy to do because of the initial deseign of data tables that don't use a FQDN for listname but only the local part of the adress. |
