i am sure i posted about it recently
alias_manager.pl contains a line like
my $alias_wrapper = '/usr/sbin/aliaswrapper';
the aliaswrapper command defined should be a suid root executable that
can be run by sympa user only

it should run newaliases which is enough
1) postalias is done by newaliases if alias_database is correct, and
yours is.
3) you don't need restart postfix, only wait for a couple of minutes and
it will notice. if you don't want the delay use postfix reload (not
restart)
