The documentation is very clear about headers/footers :

I'm testing the message footers and I see that a a text file named
message-footer.txt is attached.
At http://www.sympa.org/release.shtml in a section about changes I find:
src/List.pm: [reported by gilles tellier] Add a Fileneme message-header.txt or message-footer.txt name for compatibility with outlook.
what's this compatibility thing with Outlook?
what does Outlook use it for??
why isn't juust the text added at the end of the e-mail?
(maybe it's complicated with multipart messages??)
thanks in advance,
Juan
