Hi
I am still having problem to install sympa on Redhat 8
First I tried RPM from Sympa website, but it complained
error: Failed dependencies:
perl-MailTools >= 1.14 is needed by sympa-3.4.4.1-8
perl-IO-stringy >= 1.0 is needed by sympa-3.4.4.1-8
perl-MIME-tools >= 5.209 is needed by sympa-3.4.4.1-8
perl-ldap >= 0.10 is needed by sympa-3.4.4.1-8
MHonArc >= 2.4.6 is needed by sympa-3.4.4.1-8
although I already installed these modules
so I have to install from tarball.
After setup everything, I still could not bring up web interface. I
got 500 error and got such error msg from apach2 error log
1.Premature end of script headers: wwsympa.fcgi
2. /usr/bin/perl: relocation error: /usr/bin/perl: unde
fined symbol: PL_dollarzero_mutex
which are the same as what I got from Sympa 3.4.3.1 on Redhat 8.
Does anyone in this list or in Sympa team install Sympa successfully
on Redhat 8? I will appreciate if someone can should his/her
experience with me .
My platform is
Redhat 8.0
perl 5.8.0
Apache 2.0.44
sympa 3.4.4.1
all modules required by Sympa have been installed and perl-suidperl
also installed.
