hello,

is there a way to edit messages waiting for moderation ?

it might be useful to let moderators edit the messages for 
spelling mistakes. (especially in french)

on the other hand, there is the ethical problem of editing
and possibly rewriting words of another person.

has this issue already been raised ?

ps : a solution for the moderator could be to cut/paste the message
and post it on his own....
