Thanks, Olivier. I now understand what the multipart/alternative type
means, and I've tested what Outlook does when one adds an attachment to
a HTML-formatted (multipart/alternative) message. It does exactly what
you suggest below: a multipart/mixed wrapper, with the original multipart/
alternative message as the first part, and the attachment as the second.
So that seems like the right solution for Sympa to use too. Will you be
implementing that, or should I just customize mine?
