(In the following email, I replaced my actual domain name with
'mydomain.com')
When I email address@concealed with the word "lists" in the subject, I get
the following bounce back from postfix:
<address@concealed>: Command died with status 1: " /home/sympa/bin/queue
sympa"
I believe these are the applicable errors in my syslog file:
Oct 18 16:55:11 evolve local[2283]: fatal: execvp /home/sympa/bin/queue:
Permission denied
Oct 18 16:55:12 evolve postfix/local[2282]: BA2568DA3:
to=<address@concealed>, relay=local, delay=1, status=bounced (Command died
with status 1: " /home/sympa/bin/queue sympa")
Permission denied on the ~sympa/bin/queue...hmm.... Here's the permissions
the file has:
%ls -la queue
-rwsr-xr-x 1 sympa sympa 30673 Oct 18 15:15 queue*
The spool directory (and all files/dirs recursive to it) are all owned by
sympa/group sympa, permission 775.
I get the same postfix bounce error when I send a msg out to
address@concealed. One time I did something and I didn't
get the error.. but I never got the auth message back. I rebooted and
suddenly the auth message came through. When I replied to it.. I got the
bounce again.
I'm a bit of a linux novice, so go easy on me :). I've tried to include as
much information as I could...
Any ideas?
Thank you much!
