Achim, I had this problem with a recent install and Olivier identified
it as due to changes in the most recent version (1.805) of the Perl
DB_File module. He posted a patch to the current CVS version (I think)
of Sympa which was supposed to fix the problem.

I chose to simply roll back my DB_File module to 1.804 and that also
resolved the problem (I haven't tried the patch.)
