I've got the text digest being built in parallel with the regular digest,
with the address management being me and a set of push operations. I'm more
than willing to give this to anyone who wants it as a set of patch diffs
between my source and the original. I suspect that your bastardized .tpl
would be as good as my hack.
I haven't started on the changes to allow the user to select the digest
format - at this point I have users who like the MIME form and others who
hate it, so it can't be a list level thing. My feeling is that it's going to
be best done by changing the keywork from 'digest' to 'digest-MIME' and
'digest-TEXT', but a quick look through the code suggested that changing that
would be a royal PITA.
