The mailing list for listmasters using Sympa

WARNING: I am a Linux newb, and a Sympa newb ...

Sympa was installed with Mandrake Linux 8.1 ...
rpm -q sympa: sympa-3.2.1-2mdk

I have the mail aliases in Postfix's aliases file
I have the mySQL database setup (although empty)

If I send a message to: address@concealed containing LISTS HELP QUIT
2 messages are returns to me, Public lists, and a user's guide ...

So all seems to be working BUT ...
In httpd I have the ScriptAlias for /wws

When I type in my browser: http://www.mydomain.dom/wws

I get an Internal Server Error and in the error.log I see the following:

load_config: unable to open /etc/sympa/wwsympa.conf
Can't return outside a subroutine at /var/www/cgi-bin/wwsympa.fcgi line 50.
Premature end of script headers: /var/www/cgi-bin/wwsympa.fcgi

I have looked through the sympa.org web site, and the archives for the past 
year.  One bite in the archive matched, but the resolution was not posted ...

I am at your mercy ... TIA
