The best way is to rely on Sympa to do it. Send an email to
address@concealed
with commands as follows :

From: you
To: sympa

QUIET ADD yourlist user1@dom
QUIET ADD yourlist user2@dom
........
QUIET ADD yourlist usern@dom

(If you wish subscribers receive the list's welcome message, forget
about QUIET)
