The mailing list for listmasters using Sympa

I'm installing sympa 2.7.3 on a RedHat 6.2 Linux system with Perl 5.6.0,
and when I run -
        /bin/su sympa -c /opt/sympa/bin/sympa.pl
I get this error:
        Usage: Sys::Syslog::_PATH_LOG() at
        /usr/local/lib/perl5/5.6.0/i686-linux/Sys/Syslog.pm line 277.
Line 277 in Syslog.pm reads:
        my $syslog = &_PATH_LOG || croak "_PATH_LOG not found in syslog.ph";
I just did -
        perl -MCPAN -e 'install Sys::Syslog'
to ensure I have the latest version.
