Salut,

I have been experimenting with 5.4a.1 on our testing environment.  There is a 
noticeable improvement in performance - although wwsympa still sometimes runs 
into Apache's timeout limit.

I will be integrating Sergiy's patches into 5.4a.1, and then begin optimizing 
from there.

Olivier, thanks for the updates and improvements to the code.  It is very 
much appreciated.
