I've downgraded to perl 5.6.0 and it seems to work fine.
perl 5.8.0 is a dependency for one of LWP dependencies, although it's not
really a requirement, i.e. it works fine with 5.6.0, but CPAN will install
5.8.0 anyway.

There's also a problem with the 'total' counter.
If you're trying to add more than one address to the list and one of
addresses is incorrect, sympa will still increment the total even for the
incorrect address.
If you're trying to remove people from the list, total is also increasing
instead of decreasing.
