Attached is a Perl script to convert either a single mbox file or
a directory of arbitrarily named files to Sympa monthly archive files.

It's expanded from mjarc2sympa.pl in the current Contribs section on
the Web site (for Majordomo archives), and should actually still work
on Majordomo archives, as well as Listproc and anything else that uses
something close to standard mbox format.

But with so many people trying to migrate from Topica and YahooGroups,
there are many lists for which the best or only way to get any archive is
to pull it out of somebody's personal email files.  These are not generally
nicely divided up into monthly chunks, which is the primary functional
improvement I've made over the mjarc2sympa script.  This one automatically
pulls the dates out of the From lines and adds each message to a correctly
named monthly archive file.

I'd be happy to have this added to the Contribs section, if the Sympa
team wishes.
