Developers of Sympa

I want to make my web apps interact with sympa so I would like to use
the same cookie for my app and for sympa .. the fact is I would like to
know how it is generated and what variables exactly it does hide.
Actually I must be able to generate right the same cookie as sympa would
and as I am no real Perl expert ( i can code it but understanding it is
stilla little bit hard to me)
