As a follow-up it does appear to be specific to this particular super-list. If I add a data-source then delete it from one of my test lists it behaves as I'd expect.

We're currently mopping up subscribers from ghost data sources and manually deleting the entries from the inclusion_table as a workaround i.e. DELETE FROM inclusion_table WHERE source_inclusion='listname'; although I'm not a fan of manually hacking the database.

Kind regards,

Mark

Ironically I didn't get this response- I'd forgotten about this issue until I encountered the same issue again and Google it and found my previous question in the archive. Interestingly/ironically it was in relation to the same super-list!

I should probably have added that this is using Sympa 6.2.80 on Rocky 8 (we plan on upgrading to Rocky 9 in the near future).

Doing a manual sync I can see that only the currently named data sources get refreshed but it doesn't remove the deleted data source members..

Kind regards,

Mark

that's not what I see in our installation. The addresses from the deleted source are removed on the next run of the synchronisation (and immediately when using the synchronise-button).

Hi,

We recently had a report of an issue with a list with a number of sub-lists included as data sources.

One of the sub-lists was removed as a data source however the subscribers pulled in via this data source are still there with the removed list still listed in the 'sources' column.

Is this expected behaviour and if so, is it documented? We've also tried a 'synchronize members with data sources' but they still remain.

Kind regards,

Mark
