The mailing list for listmasters using Sympa

no, I've tested it and when you close/remove the list the added alias 
(old-name) in sympa_transport aren't removed so you have to edit it.

Should anyone write to the old-name he/she would get a reply "Unknown 
list" about new-listname.

I'd say that even in this case, as for sympa_transport, you have to edit 
a file, /etc/aliases, when you close new-listname list.
