Hi all
Quite a few years back, I setup a sympa server which worked well. Now, I'm trying the same, but with LDAP auth. The authentication works well, fine, but incoming emails just fail with user unknown (user as in name of the list). I've looked around and there are a ton of howtos on this, but they don't seem to agree too well.
Specifically, I do not understand how postfix is supposed to forward this to sympa. If it's via aliases, fine, but I can't how that's done with LDAP.
Does anyone have good docs on how to setup this? It's by no means as clear as I thought it'd be :'(
Thanks a lot in advance

So you are talking about LDAP auth for the web interface (WWSympa)? I don't see the connection to the email aliases.

LDAP auth for WWSympa, yes. Lists members are added manually, no LDAP groups or anything there. I setup a new sympa installation to see how it adds lists, and I found /etc/mail/sympa/aliases which holds the aliases.

The issue is that this worked earlier, but after being told to move the config to puppet, I just did so, not understanding the whole of it, and now it doesn't work and I can't figure out how to configure postfix to forward it all to sympa.

I apologise if this is a stuped question, but here I go.
