Hi, folx,

we just installed a Sympa on Debian 11. This is our sixth or eight 
installation, mostly for testing purposes, none of them was straightforward 
:\ We have at the moment two „real“ Sympa-sites running and they are doing 
more or less well (the socket under /run/sympa need a restart now and then). 

Now we need a Sympa at another server. We installed it via apt install sympa 
and so on. After struggling for hours and hours (the docu / manual lacks a 
lot of informationen IMHO) I have at least the apache up and running on the 
new system:

https://list.foo.bar/sympa or https://list.foo.bar (redirects to /sympa) is 
working and I an see the Sympa-Web-Gui.

But it is neither possible to login nor to set a password via

https://list.foo.bar/sympa/firstpasswd

The page is showing up, i can set in my emailaddress and then - nothing 
happens. It is always hopping back to the „welcome“-page.

The Apache-Log says:

Sympa-Log says:

Postfix-Log says nothing. Though it is possible to send an email to 
address@concealed (that is redirected to an external address).

- I double-checked if all Apache-modules was in place at 
/etc/apache2/mods-enabled
- I compared everything (at least I think so) with the two other working 
installations of sympa (all debian 11/12 with Apache 2.4).
- I did a dpkg-reconfigure sympa
- I tried various email addresses and from different systems to ensure that 
it was no cache- or cookie-problem
- I updated and restarted the server

Nothing … very annoying because this is the second time we are experiencing 
this error / misconfiguration. Surely my fault, but very hard to see the 
reason fo the error. The first time we had this we re-installed sympa 
completely and installed it again - never found out why, but then it worked.

May there be other possibilities / solutions?
