Is there any way (in a scenari or otherwise) I can add an autoreply to the list owner alias [listname-request]@list.domain for a specific list?

Subscribers of a daily events notification list are seeing “From: [listname-request]@list.domain on behalf of address@concealed”. They are not allowed to post to the list, nor to reply to the poster. However, some are apparently seeing the [listname-request] address and taking “request” as an invitation to send other events they want added to the list, spamming the list owners with requests they cannot do anything about.

Since we do want the owners to get appropriate emails about nondeliverable subscribers so they can be unsubscribed we cannot set up a dummy list owner email to be the only notified owner. We’d like anything mailed to the -request alias to continue to be delivered to owners, but also get an auto-reply explaining “this is not an address to request other events postings” so the owners can ignore such requests.

Thanks
Betty
