Hi Erik,

This is probably another long shot, but on one of the lists I administer, we have a few gmail users who regularly post and (as with all gmail users) do not see their own posts reflected back to themselves, because google eats the reflected e-mail due to its same message ID as the sent mail.
Our list recently also went full-moderated, so people now get the "your post has been forwarded to the moderator" message. I have been telling gmail folks that "if you get a message that your post has been forwarded to the moderator and you don't get another message saying your post was rejected, then your post probably went through".
I am wondering if there's a way to have a notification sent that indicates to the original sender that their message DID go through.
(I recognize I could also change the list to go "full DMARC" & that would rewrite the message ID and force gmail to reflect the posts back, but I'd prefer to let people reply offlist without having to look stuff up in headers. So looking for a solution that does not involve that change.)
Thanks for any hints,
- Erik
