The mailing list for listmasters using Sympa

When creating quick and dirty cleanup/housekeeping scripts that use just the
list/config text file and/or the database, I often find that I also end up
looking at closed list data.

What is the neatest way to recognize (and skip, or whatever) a closed list
when working from a scripting environment (perl in my case)?
