Hi Steven,

Hi,
I am trying to setup sympa on RHEL7 and when i get to the postfix section it says "sendmail" when I read the sendmail section it also reads sendmail. Has someone done a cut and paste job?
"If path ofsendmail
executable file is differ from the default value ofsendmail
parameter,/usr/sbin/sendmail
, define it insympa.conf
. For example:sendmail /usr/local/sbin/sendmail"
“sendmail” is the name of a parameter in sympa.conf: It is not the name of a software package “Sendmail”.
“sendmail executable file” is a file. Several MTA packages other than Sendmail, such as Postfix, provide the executable named “sendmail”.
On RHEL7, if you have not done anything special. The path of sendmail executable is located on “/use/shin/sendmail”, and you may not explicitly specify “sendmail” parameter in sympa.conf.
Can it be fixed please?
In the meantime a link to how to do postfix?
Also it mentions "sendmail_aliases $SYSCONFDIR/sympa_transport"
$sysconfdir of what?
Please replace it by actual path. To know it, please follow the link in the description.
Regards,
— Soji
