Hi

I've just installed Sympa 6.2.40 (Debian package) and have a question about
the Data sources setup.

To get a list's subscribers from a remote MySQL database I can create/edit
the needed files in Sympa and that works fine. But for list-owners who don't
have shell access this is not an option.

I used Sympa many years ago and as far as I can remember the Data sources
webpage in the list admin pages presented a number of form fields to fill
in: db_type, db_host, db_passwd, etc. - so that the list owner could do this
themselves.

This version of Sympa that I've installed only presents two fields in the
admin Data sources setup:

# Subscribers defined in an external data source
- the data source (an empty drop-down menu)
- data source parameters (a text input)

Could somebody tell me how I can connect a list to a remote MySQL database to
get subscribers, using these two fields on the admin webpage?

I think I may have missed a configuration setting somewhere.

Thanks
Gadi
