The mailing list for listmasters using Sympa

Hello everybody,

 

we currently use Sympa version 6.2.16 (installed as Debian package).

 

We have the problem that in the past several emails to very large lists have been released by mistake, because on the moderation website the button to release and the button to reject are very close together.

If a moderator wants to reject an e-mail, it has already happened that he accidentally clicks on the button to release the e-mail and then the e-mail is distributed directly.

Our data protection team therefore asked whether it is possible to include an additional query when releasing an e-mail, whether the e-mail should actually be distributed over the list.

(When rejecting an e-mail, a window appears again, asking the moderator if and which rejection message should be sent. However, when releasing a message, the message will be distributed immediately and the moderator cannot do anything if he has accidentally clicked this button).

 

Has this problem also occurred in other facilities?

Is there a way to include an additional query for the moderators, so that the moderators have to confirm the release again?
