Have you tried using the 'add MIME part' option, with footer.mime holding a multipart/mixed with content-disposition:inline and the two subparts being text/html and text/plain, both with content-disposition:inline ?

I've tried this in the past and it works correctly *almost* everywhere, the exception being some older mail clients that dont support content-disposition:inline for text parts.

The content-disposition:inline seems to be the key part to have it displayed rather than appearing as an attachment.
