We have a contribution repository: https://github.com/sympa-community/sympa-contribs
The contributions can be in any language. They are, however, external scripts, intending to add functionnalities that are not supposed to be in the Sympa core.
For the Sympa code, I don't think wa can support Perl 6, as everything is in Perl 5, it would be pretty hard to have parts of the code in a language and other parts in another.
