I don’t think the listmaster can control individual subscriber settings via the email interface.  The ‘SET listname NOMAIL’ email command will only set the options for the subscriber sending the command.

 

However, the SOAP API can definitely achieve what you want.  You can script the call to set various subscriber options and manage subscribers via SOAP if you have enabled it.  We have a web-based application in use here that uses the SOAP API to manage list membership and metadata in a related mailing list.

Hi everybody,

i have two questions:

is the listowner able to command "set listname nomail" for a subscriber by using email-command,
or is there another way to manage (enable/disable) the subscribers automatically via script?

What does that mean?:
<BOOKMARK:set_nomail>SET listname NOMAIL
