The mailing list for listmasters using Sympa

Hi all,
I am looking for a mail list server for dissemination of emails and managing
lists.
I found this sympa is one of the right choise to implement.
As i have very little knowledge on this, can some one help me out for by
providing step by step installation instructions and configuration procedure?
