I did that and one of the errors contained this gem: "error : Incorrect key 
file for table './sympa/bulkmailer_table.MYI'; try to repair it".  Logged 
into 
mysql, did the repair table and things seem to be processing as normal.

I think it speaks a lot for a product that I can get it going and basically 
just ignore it for such long stretches of time.  Kudos to the sympa folks.
