I have it working …

 

My problem was that I had an older sympa(creation) daemon that had been running since before I’d modified the configuration… It wasn’t getting stopped / restarted with the rest of the sympa daemons.  Did a kill -9 on it, then restarted and everything sprang to life… :->

Normally yes, except if you defined a different etc directory.
What is the value of the 'etc' parameter in sympa.conf ?
