Sorry! my last email was incomplete.

hello,
i'm trying to figure out what the effect of 'html' as a reception
mode is. as far as i can tell, even if a subscriber has their
reception mode set to html, they still receive emails with
Content-Type: text/plain if that is how the emails are sent from the
sender.
i understand that there is not much usefulness in forcing a plain-text message into html!
the reason i started looking at this is because i was trying to figure out if there is a way to send the welcome email in html. i found that even if i set the default reception mode of the list to html, new subscribers still receive the welcome email in plain text. i also understand why one would not want to set the default reception mode to html, but i was doing it for the sake of testing :).
it seems then that there is not a way to send welcome emails in html format. is this true, or am i missing something?
