The mailing list for listmasters using Sympa

I'm running Sympa 6.0.1.  Some of our lists require owner approval before a person can join the list. Is there a way to send a reject message, ideally a customizable one, to people who are denied access to the list so that we can let them know why they were rejected?  Currently, when a user's subscription is rejected I don't think any notification is sent.
