The regeneration process is completely seperated and done by the
archived.pl. The wwwsympa.fcgi process creates only a special empty
file in the outgoing spool for each list.

Maybe creating ten thousands of empty files can cause apache timeout.
You can avoid this by creating the files manually. The filename
template is .rebuild.$LISTNAME but I'm not sure. Check the source code
for details!
