I'm not using perl 5.14 but could you please provide the warnings issued by
the program?

I upgraded my perl from 5.12 to 5.14 and now wwsympa.fcgi (via wwsympa-
wrapper.fcgi)
gives a lot of warning and than core-dumps.

Is any one running sympa under perl 5.14?

The apache log output of one request is:

http://nogeenkeer.com/request.txt

The "#!perl -U" makes the errors a warning, but in the end:

[Thu Nov 17 06:50:55 2011] [warn] FastCGI: server "/usr/local/libexec/sympa/wwsympa-wrapper.fcgi" (pid 85455) terminated due to uncaught signal '11' (Segmentation fault)
[Thu Nov 17 06:50:55 2011] [warn] FastCGI: server "/usr/local/libexec/sympa/wwsympa-wrapper.fcgi" restarted (pid 85818)

(from the global apache log)

Please also look at the output of "perl -wc wwsympa.fcgi":

http://nogeenkeer.com/perl-wc_wwsympa.fcgi.txt

As a workaround I am thinking of removing the setuid bits from wwsympa-wrapper.fcgi
and then chown the directories and files of sympa to the apache user.
Do you think that will work?
