The mailing list for listmasters using Sympa

It is not disabling it per se but you could remove some lines from  suspend_request.tt2 to hide the function. I guess the users could still use a mail command to set their subscription to nomail though.

You are right. I had not thought of that. I have make a test and indeed, if a user suspend all his subscriptions, he receives any mail.

Sorry to be a bother today… one more thing I noticed is that users are able to suspend delivery of mailing lists. Is it possible to disable that feature? We have all our lists populated from an AD server and would like Sympa to do as little user management as possible – the more places we need to look for possible reasons why someone is not receiving list mails, the more complicated end user support gets…

Yes, it's possible.
The parameter 'available_user_options' lets you choose what options are available for users (mail, nomail, digest ...)
