Hi Christian,
Make sure you have this in sympa.conf:
cache_list_config binary_file
otherwise sympa will have to read and parse the plaintext configuraion file
for each of your 18,000 lists.
Only thing is, I'd think you must have had this set up in your old sympa
install or you'd have had the same issue. Maybe you did and it got lost
during the upgrade?
there's a way on the command line to update the cached binary files, sympa.pl
--help will tell you i think.
