Weird thing? I think is quite reasonable for big installations. You
have incoming MTA which is facing the Internet. Then you want to split
serving user e-mail accounts to one server and serving mailing lists
to another another server. Currently you have to run Sympa on the same
server as incoming MTA.

You can forward from incoming MTA to some internal MTA on the same
server as Sympa which then pipes this to Sympa. So using SMTP for
communication between incoming MTA and Sympa is one possibility. The
other is that Sympa itself listens for input on the socket and this is
the way how incoming MTA could pipe e-mail to it.

So currently this is not possible, but it is planned. Thanks for this
link. This is what I wanted to know. If there is already something or
should we do something for ourselves (SSH or internal MTA or
something).
