Also, is an HTML WYSIWYG creation page on the Sympa roadmap plans yet?

Yes it is on the roadmap as many other features... Sympa is already able to send html messages that you may compose outside Sympa.

Sympa 6 include a specific feature for those who don't want to compose html with outlook or even thunderbird.  You cant post an html page and its component (images and CSS) in a multipart/related message just giving the page URL in the "Post" page...

It is really very powerful because you can use your usual html editor to produce a page send send it by one clic.  It is recommended to test you page before because you can't sent any kind of HTML to email client. For example you must ban _javascript_ !

We use it for our own htlm newsletter. You can see it  looking at our newsletter archives : https://listes.cru.fr/sympa/arc/echo or try it in your 6.0 server.

The following picture show this feature.

By the past we where using a htmlarea, à _javascript_ WYSIWYG editor which now not supported anymore because of the licence. It would be very easy to introduce it into Sympa maybe just by
  • modifying web tt2 templates
  • add a smmal peace of code into wwsympa in order to compose the mime structure adhoc.
We will accept a contrib if submitted with a opensource licence compatible with gpl.
