I appreciate that that could be a temporary workaround if this is a bug 
in Sympa, but I'm hoping to first characterize this issue properly. The 
whole point in using owner_include is so that I *don't* have to hardcode

Yes, that's my concern. I have log_level set to 0 and I'm still seeing 
these messages. I'm hoping one of the Sympa developers can respond on this.
