Thank you for your answer David,

I found the script testldap.pl under sympa's bin directory which helped me
understand that the problem was the absence of the NEt::LDAP perl module. As
soon as I installed it, sympa imports perfectly users from my LDAP. I thought
that such an error should be reported in the apache's error log, or sympa log
(I had the highest debug level ).
