The mailing list for listmasters using Sympa

Dear everyone,


on the Power mailing list Henrik brought up the topic of “Power
consumption by Mailman” causing interrupts when polling the queue [1].

Is this problem also present with Sympa, that means is Sympa doing
polling or is it using let’s say inotify? I could not check with
Powertop [2] yet.

If it does not use polling maybe this could be noted as an advantage
over Mailman.
