Thanks. On point 1, putting it in debug pointed out an error I had that
was masked in my "sanitizing" of host names. And thanks for the
clarification on point 2. Since the log appeared to be passing it on, I
thought the list-request address would do the right thing for
subscriptions. I'll modify our internal documentation.
