Hi George,

The "Aliases installed successfully" log only means that the script 
returned a status of 0.
The script is a contribution to Sympa project with different 
contributors, therefore I can't tell if all error cases have been 
checked and raised.

Please try to run the script manually as shown in the following example :

   /home/sympa/bin/ldap_alias_manager.pl add arts lists.upnet.gr

You should run the script as user 'sympa' ; and you might get 
interesting output in STDERR.
