After upgrading to Sympa 5.4b.1 from 5.3b.1, sympa aliases are no longer being installed automatically. 

 

The following message is in the error log:

 

Mar 17 09:13:24 localhost wwsympa[3339]: admin::install_aliases() admin::install_aliases : Unable to run newaliases

 

Any ideas how to correct this problem?

Hello.

Two ideas :
- sympa is not a trusted user in your sendmail or postfix configuration (but if it works before ...)
- ~sympa/bin/aliaswrapper has not the good rights. It must be owned byt root and has the setuid bit
