The mailing list for listmasters using Sympa

I had a similar problem with a list that the WWSympa list told me was open. 
When I e-mailed the list, I kept being told the list was closed.

When I took a look at the file $SYMPA_HOME/expl/problem_list/config, the 
variable status was set to 'error_config', so Sympa assumed the list was 
closed. The only way I could find to fix this was to delete the 'status' 
variable from the config file, then save some unrelated configratuion setting 
in the WWSympa interface.

I've only started using Sympa this week, so I'm far from sure this is your 
problem. Love the software, though! Thanks.

Hi all,

I'm using sympa 5.3b.1.
I set on a list subscribe to open but sympa keeps to refuse the 
subscription.
Is there any other parameter relationed with subscribe in a way that 
when is set to open still refuses  the subscription?
